The helmet's exterior features an original and rather striking brown and green camouflage paint scheme. The helmet's interior brim is marked "BS 10", denoting 1915 production by William Beardmore & Co. Ltd. of Glasgow, Scotland. Its original oil cloth liner and leather chinstrap are still present, and the chinstrap loops are secured by split rivets. Provenance Private Collection,
