The two central hoops sewn into the lining are nailed tacked to the roof's wooden cross members. The sides of the lining are also tacked to the front and back side rails. I saw some reviews that mention difficulty in threading or fitting. They are tight, but they work fine. I had no issues installing the speaker wire and no issues with the set/crimping screws. I even had one fall out when I loosened it too much and, though it was challenging without my glasses, I did get it to thread back in with no problems.
