Original "Affe" German Tornister Back PackOriginal "Affe" or ape as it is sometimes called, German tornister back pack. This one was made to be attached to the Y straps. It appears to be unissued or lightly used at most with some light storage wear. There is an R. B. Nr. on the back of the pack in the usual place but I did not see a date. I would guess this was a mid to late war example because of the R. B. Nr. and the use of white cloth inside rather than the usual green tan cloth. This

The units looked really cool and were of excellent quality. They popped up reliably albeit slowly which was fine with me. I was really looking forward to using these in a built in cabinet we're making but they did not fit where I wanted them so I had to send them back. Good buy and very useful accessory as a cut in on a table.

Bought these for a new built in enclosed patio buffet table. Everyone always needs plugs for phones, computers, iPads, etc. This is perfect and cover recesses to minimize exposure although mine is not exposed to outside weather.
