PAOLO SCAVINO BAROLO CANNUBI 2015The 2015 Barolo Cannubi is another heady, dense wine in this range. Here, too, there is a ton of potential, but at present the 2015 is fruity and primary. I would give it a good few years for some of the baby fat to melt away. Even with all of its textural richness, the 2015 has quite a bit of underlying detail and nuance that emerges with just a bit of aeration. There is plenty to look forward to, that much is clear.

LOVE this shimmer oil. Has a lovely subtle copper/rose gold when used lightly. The shimmer gets more pronounced the more you use, but never obnoxious. The oil absorbs well and fully on damp skin, but I usually use it before going out for the day on dry skin, and it works just as well. The nozzle produces a generous amount with each squirt and has yet to clog or stop up as with some shimmer oils. The oil leaves the skin moisturized and glowy. The shimmer does not rub off easily on clothing and other fabrics. The scent is just amazing. If you have the regular oil, this smells just as amazing. It’s hard to describe…a gorgeous floral smell, but not grandma’s lilly or lavender smell. Just sexy. If sexy and summer, and feminine had a smell, this would be it. Yummy and inherently woman. Get this oil for some shimmer and a splash of confidence.
