The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. So far I'm liking this product. For the model X, you can use it on either side of the screen. As well, it holds on very well on the screen. Very good build quality and design. Fits perfectly to the screen. Very strong magnetic fit. But can cause scratches to your case if tth case is a hard plastic material.
