SERIES II CARPET SET 1953-56 LHDAll early Morris Minors had carpet material which was known as "Carvel" made in Kidderminster. The carpet had quite a strong bristly feel to it with a woven backing. It was hard wearing and lasted well. It was discontinued in the mid 1960's and is no longer available at all. We are offering a modern nylon automotive carpet we have specially made in Yorkshire, that to all intent and purposes looks the same from about 6 feet away! From the diagram here

The only difference from the old starter to this one is the old hardware had notches for the electrical connection and the old starter had a longer terminal post so I couldn’t swap the hardware successfully. Instead of returning it because I don’t want to walk to work again I decided to grind a notch on the new starter. Lucky for me it worked and I don’t show up with my uniform sweaty in a retail job anymore
