Cometic Honda F20B 86mm Bore .036in MLS Head GasketThe Cometic MLS gasket is comprised of three to five layers of stainless steel. Cometic uses stainless steel for increased strength, its ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. The Viton coating is heat resistant to 250C or 482F.

I sprayed off the shutters before using. Then applied the product. It’s a thicker, white liquid. (Think lotion) it applied easily and dried quickly since it was being absorbed into the plastic shutters and aluminum windows; mine were very ‘thirsty’ from being in the direct afternoon sunlight. I like how I didn’t have to worry if one part rcvd more product than another. It blended easily. I think it looks good, but so did using other products over the years. I was told by a neighbor that this was the best product to use on them and other plastics. Time will tell if it holds up.
