Nitrile rubber can tolerate short term dry running of the sealing lip. The operating temperature range without failure of nitrile rubber is 40 to +100 C. It’s not quite hypoallergenic
It has a fragrance. And the one from Avene that can be used post procedure does not have a fragrance. So I find the fragrance irritates my skin. I bought this for the winter. But I can’t use it because it causes contact dermatitis for me.
