The LS1 alternator itself are 1kg heavier when compared to the OEM unit due to the extra windings to produce a higher amperage output but overall the complete kit including the block bracket, adjuster and hardware are 1kg lighter inclusive of the 2kg weight saving of the PRP

Not sure why these aren't standard, but a must have. Fits like factory and bolts on rock solid. Easy install and took me about 10 mins. Color matches trim perfectly. Just wish I could've swapped the speaker cover with the JBL marked cover, but the factory uses push tabs and not screws. I didn't want create any loose parts that would vibrate later. For the cost, it isn't a bad accessory. Worth it in my opinion.
