Lychnis flos-cuculi (Ragged Robin)Branched stems bear opposite, lance shaped leaves. Clusters of star shaped deep rose pink flowers, each petal deeply cut into 4 narrow segments, appear in late spring and early summer. It prefers to be in moist soil rather than in the water. Little maintenance is required. Trim just above the water surface after foliage has died back in Autumn to tidy. Plant in full sun to partial shade between 0cm and 1cm deep. Flowering period: May to August Mature

Before buying, I thought it would be a thick, glossy satin ribbon. After receiving it, I found the material is rather thin and the texture feels quite ordinary. When used for gift wrapping, it looks a bit cheap and doesn’t match the effect shown in the pictures.

Edges fray easily after cutting
