The feel and thickness are perfect for our typical use in a warm weather state that we camp in year round. Last trip out it got pretty cold overnight and we let our dog sleep on our bed. When we returned home we washed it for the first time. I held my breath to see what condition it would be in afterwards and it came out in great condition. While we were using it, we noticed the weight, texture and comfort were all where we needed it to be and therefore we would recommend this if you needed an RV Queen sized comforter without breaking the bank.

Next time I would go with an oversized King or oversized California King for better coverage. Bonus: no weird chemical smell when I opened the package, which is always a win.
