1941 Bakelite Olympia-Plana Dutch Occupation Typewriter AmsterdamHere is a neat piece. An original 1941 German made Dutch typewriter based on the Bakelite Olympia plana model. Unfortunately, the Bakelite does have some problems. There are a few old repaired (glued) cracks and some newer ones also. Despite the cracks, it does seem very solid. It does work but a few of the outermost keys stick slightly. I believe with just a little bit of tinkering, you could get it running perfectly. It does have an Umlaut key to do

It took me about 30-40 minutes to assemble, and it wasn't difficult at all. It fits perfectly in the kids' room, and finally, all the toys aren't scattered all over the floor 🙌 The baskets are roomy, they hold a lot of stuff, and my kids can easily pick up their toys and put them back (well... sometimes 😂).
