Der WB1 wird vor einer bestehenden Strahldse montiert und bildet einen Wassermantel um den Strahlstrom, nachdem dieser die Strahldse verlassen hat. Dadurch wird die Staubentwicklung beim Strahlen deutlich reduziert, ohne dass die komplette Strahldse ersetzt werden muss. Im Gegensatz zu einer herkmmlichen Wasserstrahldse, bei der Wasser direkt in oder an der Strahldse injiziert
